Transport connection
By car
The village of Velké Losiny is easy accessibly along the primary road No. 11 Šumperk → Červenohorské sedlo → Jeseník. Passenger cars and buses may park in the centre of the village on public park places (the ones at Praděd hotel or at post building are the closest).
Only limited number of park places for passenger cars is at disposal near the paper mill. This car park is reserved only for the visitors to “Losín“ restaurant and the Museum of Paper. The parking is limited to max. 2 hours, and for fee in main tourist season. It is not permitted to entry the internal precinct of hand paper mill with cars.
By train
Rail connection on the route No. 291 Šumperk –> Petrov nad Desnou –> Kouty nad Desnou. Private railway that provides a public rail passenger transport on regional route Šumperk → Kouty nad Desnou. The station Velké Losiny (in the centre of the village) is the closest to hand paper mill and the station being prepared: Velké Losiny – castle (both at the distance of approx. 10 minutes).
By bus
Bus connection vie lines on the route Šumperk → Jeseník, suburban lines Šumperk → Velké Losiny (part of IDSOK –> integrated transportation system of Olomouc region) or distant lines Brno → Šumperk → Červenohorské sedlo → Jeseník. The stop of bus lines (V. Losiny – hotel Praděd) is located in immediate vicinity of the hand paper mill.
